The BrickWays Foundation (previously known as the Grand Traverse Area Community Living Foundation) was created on November 9, 1988 to assist our founder, Mary Jean Brick, with funding for facilities and operations.  It started with an original board of six members who were mostly family members of residents in our Community Living Center.  Since then countless volunteers have contributed to its success. Without this Foundation, many of our housing facilities and services for local adults with a developmental disability would not be possible.
